DYKES HATE ZIONISTS
Plain and simple: dykes hate (!!!) zionists! As far as we dykes are concerned, no dyke worthy of the name would do anything other than hate zionists! Being a dyke is not just about who you are, how you present, nor who you lay with; no, being a dyke includes what you stand for!
The alleged “dykes” of the 2025 San Francisco Dyke March Interim Steering Committee (ISC) don’t seem to stand for much of anything at all.
- From the start, many dykes expressed an explicit desire for the 2025 SF Dyke March to make a clear statement about Palestine
- Those who would go on to make up the ISC met these requests with non-profit non-sense that SF Dyke March couldn’t make a statement, that an official org need be formed, that a Board of Directors was necessary, blah blah blah
- Once formed the ISC made up a list of values then tried to have meeting attendees vote on said values without discussion
- After discussion and voting took place, which brought the begrudging addition of language about opposing the genocide in Palestine, the ISC made the unilateral decision to coddle zionists by adding anti-semitism to the list of opposed oppressions in spite of already having an explicit opposition to religious intolerance
- What’s more, the ISC unilaterally drafted and sent out a list of Community Agreements that includes a section titled “Explicit Stance on Antisemitism” without any prior discussion or vote and imposed Zoom chat monitors to keep alleged “violent and hateful language” at bay
- What seeting irony that the ISC made an explicit statement about the anti-semitism which was wholly absent from pior meetings, but said nothing about the genocide denialism nor the anti-Palestinian remarks that were present!
Unlike the big tent that the ISC has build, we say:
